The article is on the case study of complex Gear Transmission and Bearing Positive Stop mechanic system. It devotes to study the Virtual Prototyping technique in complex mechanic system; the Motion Simulation technique of Virtual Prototype; the flexing technique of rigid body; the technique of integration, experiment designing, approximation modeling and optimization of multi-objective and multi-discipline platform (iSIGHT); the organization model of command stream and input-output mode in large software, including Pro/e,ADAMS,iSIGHT,ANSYS; the method of collaborative modeling, simulation and optimization between the software. Based on the study and continued attempts, the article concludes that:1.The middle file realized joint modeling of pro/e and ADAMS, and then established the Virtual Prototype in complex Gear Transmission and Bearing Positive Stop mechanic system.2.After the motion analysis to the Virtual Prototype's rigid body in ADAMS, it testified that the Prototype meets the kinematics characters. Moreover, a lot of dynamics analysis data are gathered, which provides support to Prototype integration, experiment designing, optimization as well as the boundary conditions of finite element analysis.3. The iSIGHT integrates ADAMS successfully, testifies and designs the index parameters of Virtual Prototype's rigid body, supplements the technique of approximation modeling, it obtained greater influence factors. Further, it has gained the optimization effects by combinatorial optimization design.4. With successful introduction of the ADAMS through modal neutral file of ANSYS, rigid-flexible mixture Virtual Prototype with complex Gear Transmission and Bearing Positive Stop mechanic system is created. Through dynamics analysis, more accurate dynamics data can be obtained.5. With Fiper technology, iSIGHT3.5 has integrated the following processes that the key component was modeled in Pro/e, the modal neutral file was created in ANSYS, and the motion simulation of rigid-flexible mixture Virtual Prototype was completed in ADAMS. Also, through combinatorial optimization analysis, better Prototype model was obtained and integration design was realized.The article has created the Virtual Prototype in complex Gear Transmission and Bearing Positive Stop mechanic system, and applied iSIGHT3.5 to combinatorial design and experiment, approximation modeling and optimization of index parameter for Prototype; With Fiper technology, iSIGHT3.5 has also been used to integrate Pro/e,ANSYS,ADAMS, which realized the integration design of rigid-flexible mixture Virtual Prototype in complex mechanic system; Through the attempt, the article verifies and summarizes the essence of the idea of integration design.
