Research On The Renovation Planning Of Public Space Of Ancient Villages In West Hill Of Taihu Lake

With the rise of rural tourism, the ancient village holds more and more important status in tourism development, which proposes new requirements on the public space of the ancient villages'function, quality and landscape. The renovation planning of the public space of ancient villages is imperative. However, because of the studies on domestic public space renovation planning for rural are still scarce, this paper has a theoretical and practical significance.With the help of domestic and international researches and practical experiences , through on-site researches, interviews, questionnaires , approach to the public space of seven ancient villages in West Hill of Taihu Lake as the research object, using the method of combining comprehensive analysis and typical planning, It is to analyses and evaluate from macro to micro on public space of ancient villages , to excavate its influencing factors, problems and causes deeply, and on this basis, to propose the principles, objectives, methods and measures on the renovation planning of the public space of ancient villages , and then to have the evidence of ancient village-MingYuewan.This paper is divided into four parts, concrete thinking and writing structured as follows:The first, second chapter is the Theory Part. It is to define the core conception and to introduce the content, purpose, ideas, methods and technical framework of the research, basing on the analysis of topics origin and domestic and foreign theories and practices on the public space, rural public space, rural landscape planning .The third chapter is the Actuality Part. Through the status of the research of seven ancient villages in the West Hill of Taihu Lake, it is to explain the historical changes and influencing factors of the public space, to evaluate and analyse its on three aspects, such as functional structure and overall layout, texture and landscape spatial composition, micro-elements and effectiveness, inorder to propose the problems and causations.Chapter IV is the Idea Part. Basing on the theory of reference and analysis, it is to propose the principles, objectives, methods and measures on the renovation planning of the public space of ancient villages, strive to have the renovation planning for public space of ancient villages on three aspects of functional reconstruction, landscape restoration, and the context inheritance remediation.Chapter V is the Practice Part. It is to renovate the public space of ancient village-Ming Yuewan , as the practice to realize the improvement methods.
