To solve the problem of performance degradation due toparameter variations in the vector control of an asynchronousmotor, this paper presents a new method of designing adaptiverotor flux observer for vector control system. On the basis ofmulti-variable mathematical model and state equation of themotor, along with the transfer function when speed of the motoris a constant, the adaptive rotor flux observers has been designedby using the parameter adaptive algorithm with a strict positivereal error model, and the vector control closed-loop system ofspeed and flux has been constituted by using the observer.Simulation research of the system is done by constructingsimulation model of the adaptive system using SIMULINKsimulation tool of MATLAB language, and the effectiveness ofthe design method of rotor flux observer is verified by the resultsof the simulation.
