Abstract/Summary:
Based on discussing the influencial elements to capacity and delays of the controlled intersection junction, this paper analyzes how the flow of traffic to run at the controlled intersection junction, especially at stop line, at the point of conflict, and at the point of merging intersection. Then using the way of L.C.Edie, the stimulated model of the flow of traffic running is built up, and stimulated program is developed. Based on the actual data calibrated model, appling the program to stimulate, tests are done. In order to sure the homogeneity of the testing, the paper uses the way of homogeneity design and uses the theory of the uniform designs for experiments with mixtures (UDEM) , restricted uniform designs for experiments with mixtures (RUDEM) and method of fitting level to optimize the testing. At last, based on the theory of cubature, the multivariate linear regression equations are built up, and the traffic conversion coefficient of the controlled intersection junction are deduced.
