Mixed ffiction energy dissipMixed friction energy dissipation brace (MFEDB) named "b was devised to consume vibration energy by rotational and sliding friction based on the investigation into the achievements of friction dampers around the world. The main content of this paper includes: (a).deducing elastoplastic resilience models of two MFEDBs; (b). elastoplastic response simulating and programming of friction energy dissipation braced frame (FEDBF); (c). quasi-static cyclic tests to "b and vibration table tests to FEDBF; (d).multi-layer complex programming to optimize structures and (e).MFEDB parameters optimizing according to the destined purpose by virtue of elastoplastic dynamic time history analysis. It was verified that the energy dissipation mechanism of"b is indisputable and the shock absorption ability of "b is excellent. The goal of "no collapse or no damage to tall buldings under severe earthquake" can be economically and effectively realized by MFEDB parameter optimization. |
