Senior Citizen Housing Model, Suitable For Family Pension

As the trend of the increasing senile population becoms more and more obvious,most Chinese cities have stoped in the line of cities of senility. While the senile popultionhas been increasing, it has alsp brought many social problems, among which the housingneeds of old people and the problems of providing for the old are serious. Especially to ourcountry, the conduction of the birth control policy has made the family economic loads ofthe young couples too beavy, but in the present life style, the traditional concepts towardproviding for the old have brought numerous conflicts to the family life. In addition, theeconomic level and social concepts at present can't satisfactorily popularize the style ofproviding for the old by society. Therefore, how to solve these problems by the designreform is of great realistic importance.This paper mainly analyzes the situation of the senile population in China, inverstigates the curren residential problems of the old, synthetically studies the current housingsituation of the old in foreign countries, and attempts to seek out the housing modes tosuit our country and satisfy the housing needs of providing for the old by families.
