Geographic Infonnation System (GIS) is newly emerging advancedtechnique. It has been experiencing rapid development since its birth inI 960s.And due to its powerful functions in spatial and comprehensive analysis ,ithas been applying a lot of worlds. It is one of the application to analyze spatialdistribution of water resource through building water resource informationsystem.Spatial Analysis Information System About Water Resource In Longkou Cityis built based on GJS technique and hydrological observational data and hasanalyzed the spatial distribution of LongKou City water resource. The thesisresearchs how to establish Spatial Analysis Information System About WaterResource In Longkou City ,which includes following point:(DSystem target and planning On the whole , system target is to detailedanalyze spatial distribution of water resource in this area .So it' s capable toIImanage water resource in LongKou ,based on mastering the regularity of spatialdistribution.cThe method of establishment of Spatial Analysis Information SystemAbout Water Resource In Longkou CityBased on water experiment and observational data and special map, spatialdatabase and attributive database of water resource is established withARC/INFO7.1~ Arcview3.1~ Photoshop5.O~ Idrisi2.O~. Visual Foxpro5.O. TakingHorton geomorphology and Valdes geomorphicly immectiate unit hydrograph (Gtheory) as theory direction, the database is analyzed and mathematical models isfound .Linking basic database and model database , that spatial database andattributive database of water resource is established.R Extracts remote sense information and conventional information toestablish Special Analysis Information System About Water Resource InLongkou City which includes special database and attributive database~Based on the analysis of database , ten water resource mathematicalcalculation models have been set up, i.e. precipitation, runoff, groundwater, evaporation, discharge, utilizable water resources degree, industry and livingwith Horton geomorphology and G theory.cComparing this system results with traditional results ,the difference issmall, which shows this system is practical. Through comparison , it can beconcluded that this system can work faster and get more details than traditionalresearch.cIn the final analysis conclusions are drawn and recommendations are made...
