Development, Based On The Igbt Advanced Static Var Generator (the Asvg)

This paper introduces the principle of ASVG and its validation is verified by simulation. Based on the simulation ,the paper proposes its realization method by using IGBT inverters . The project is funded by Hunan Power Industry .Co . The paper is totally divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces several kinds of Var sources and discusses the relationship of Var inbalance and voltage variation and presents the principle of Var dynamic compensation.The second chapter mainly introduces the ways of Var compensation and makes a detailed comparation.The third chapter introduces the principle of ASVG and gets the indirect current control according to the simplified circuit model of ASVG .In the simulation the aim of the ASVG controller is to stablizle system voltage and two methods are adopted to make a comparation.The fourth chapter introduces the experiment of ASVG using IGBT inverters .It discusses the characteristic of three level of main circuit and introduces EPM and DSP TMS320F240.The fifth chapter introduces the hardware and software realization of our experiment device and gives more details on how to generate PWM.
