This research subject is designed for S&T development project, real time monitor of steam turbine electrical generators, proposed by Jin Ling Petrochemical Company. Using the technology of vibratory signal processing, hardware and software in computer field, and data communication in computer network, the CMD-3N system is designed for accomplish the project.This system, CMD-3N, employs embedded device, specialized AD circuit and operation system of DOS and Linux to accomplish a higher stability and reliability and make it easy to design the application program. This system adopts distributed structure internal and Browse/Server pattern external. Because of reasonable network structure, it enhances its reliability and flexibility, and can permit multiuser remote access. Now the system has been accomplished and passed test.This paper introduces the theorem of vibratory monitor in rotary machinery and failure diagnosis system, and discusses the CMD-3N system from the aspect of hardware and software designed of the composed modules (communication and data collect), network topology, network communication protocol and the debug result.
