Knowledge-based Reconfigurable Fas System And Simulation Software Research And Development

Flexible Assembly Technology (FAS) is an important part of Flexible Manufacturing. In recent years, the FAS has become a very important symbol of the development of modern manufacturing. The degree of researching and application of FAS has been regarded as the level of national advanced technology and manufacturing. The reconfiguration of FAS is a trend of flexible assembly technology development. As one subject of engineering technology, Knowledge Engineering is put forward as the application part of Artificial Intelligence. Knowledge Engineering based Intelligence Manufacturing must be an important trend of manufacturing technology in the future.At first, the background, the research and the development of flexible assembly are expatiated in this paper. Then the reconfiguration of FAS is analyzed, and the idea of Knowledge Engineering is introduced into FAS. Knowledge Engineering based scheduling system, data gathering and communication for flexible manufacturing systems are discussed. The wizard technology is also applied into the FAS. The key technology of The Knowledge Engineering based FAS is discussed in detail, and a FAS based the above technology is designed and developed .The software of data gathering, communication and simulation are developed by author.At last it summarized the research achievement of this paper and raised a new hypothesis for FA's deep research.
