| The thesis apply all kinds of methods and measures and conform to the suppose of "perfect state design process" in the research work. Taking the correlative research results of Psychology of Environment, Behavior theory of Environment and investigated data for external bases, the author analyzes the outer space which are selected and connect the waterfront constructions and the body of the water gradually and rationally. Finally, the author concludes that there exists two relations between the waterfront constructions and the body of the water. They are frontal transition and lateral transition. There exists three relations which are external tangent, overlap and inclusion between the transitional space and the construction. Furthermore, according to the rules of permutation and combination, the waterfront construction transitional space should be deduced to six essential patterns. Because the transitional space divides into two categories: single apace and composite space, every essential pattern could accommodate any water environment. The author also takes some meditation in allusion to the waterfront of the Grand Canal in Hangzhou. There is no stand or fall in every pattern itself. Every pattern provides the public fallow activities in waterfront with one kind of place. The essential pattern could be found in any water environment, otherwise, there must have a certain requirement of people which we could not satisfy. The summarizing of the essential patterns also make a new references to the related design and planning in future. |
