Zhangjiagang Port Bulk Transformation Of The Operating System Research

With the annual increased amount of the bulk handling, change of transportation methods and rapid development of the cargo handling at Zhangjiagang Port(herein after called Port), higher requirements have been given to the port facities and daily operation. Meanwhile, in order to make full use of the potiential capacity of the Port sources to support of state economy, Port facities need to be continuously reformed and Port functions need to be further promoted. To date, bulk has become one of the main cargos of the Port. Namely, Bulk handling will significantly influence the input & output and long term development of Port. This paper will focus on the study of the reform plan to the bulk handling system of Port, so as to further strengthen the comprehensive capacity of the system and to meet the current requirements of bulk handling of the Port.This paper will be divided into three parts as follows,1. Based on the comparision between several tipical domestic existing bulk handling systems, to analyze the charicteristices and operation requirements of bulk handling sys. Particularly, to analyze main problems of the present bulk handling sys. of the Port.2. Based on analyze of long term strategy of the Port especially the study of requirements of development of bulk handling company, to reiterate the necessity of reform to the current of bulk handling sys of the Port. Further, to forecast the future amount of input & out put of bulk at the Port based on the utilizing of combination forecast model, so as to give scientic supports to the reform plan of the existing sys.3.Based on the comparision and optimization, to physically study the reform plan to several section of the current bulk handling system.We hope this paper will be practically and physically valuable to the strategy of strengthen the compresive capacity of bulk handing company so as to obtain advantage status during the new round of competetion, at same time we hope this paper may also give suggestions to the reform of any other similar system.
