This dissertation is about the dynamic analysis of the composite material barrel, which is based on the theory of composite material mechanics and composite material structure analysis. At first, the case of projectile moving in the barrel is studied, the kinematics equation of the projectile is developed and the dynamics calculation model is built. By using ADAMS, the advanced kinematics and dynamics simulation software, the result of time-varying quantity of the projectile moving in the barrel is obtained, such as velocity, displacement, azimuth angles and so on, which provide a foundation for the further study. Then, the structure mode analysis of composite material barrel is carried out. And the mode properties of the barrel are obtained, varying by the winding angles of fiber. Through the forced response analysis under the moving pressure of barrel, the stress status of the composite material barrel is obtained and dynamic response of the head of barrel is calculated, such as time-varying displacement, velocity and acceleration. All of these conclusions will be available for the optimizing design of the composite material barrel.
