As the primary bearing component in the helicopter rotor system, the composite blade reinforced tape determines the helicopter power level. Winding forming technology is adequate for high strength fiber reinforced composite component manufacturing. But the traditional methods and equipments for winding are difficult to form the complex geometry shape of blade reinforced tapes. And there is unstable quality, low efficiency, poor types scalability, high labor intensity, etc.According to dimensions and mechanical properties and other requirements of various types of blade reinforced tapes. Design and analyse the traditional automated winding as well as laying forming process schemes for as a basis. Make optimization and development of this technology. Put forward a new type of winding forming process which mandrel length is variable during the work time. Make mathematical description of finished product outer contour by the designed winding process.and test geometrical feasibility for reinforced tapes. Propose the mechanical model as well as control scheme of prepreg tape tension and pressing force between layers.Design the general scheme of winding forming equipment for blade reinforced tapes according to the method proposed. And design the parts structure including equipment bed, high-speed and long-stroke linear motion mechanism, winding mandrels and corresponding fixture,etc. The bed is designed integrated structure to ensure relative position accuracy of the main bed and the fixture. The motion actuators are designed as two aluminum lightweigh mobile stations with vibration absorption function. Fixture is designed as winding mandrels bracket with six rotational positions suitable for a variety of winding mandrel specification.Study the function requirements of the winding head system. Make kinematics and mechanics calculation to study the characteristic of winding and unwinding coil stock radius changing with time. Proposed design concept of innovative wheel train structure and constant force controlling devices according to the theoretical results. Design the internal part structure of winding head including unwinding mechanism which could keep the prepreg tension constant, the winding mechanism which could winding PE isolation film with stable tension. Pneumatic prepreg constant pressing force exerting mechanism, etc.Make statical analysis of main bearing parts in the equipment. Analyse the stiffness of the rolling part in the winding mandrel bracket and cantilever type Y-motion mechanism. And optimize these structure in multiple perspectives. Establish the kinematics and dynamics model of winding actuator. Simulate the operation process of winding head. Analyse the effect of winding head kinematics characteristic such as trajectory and acceleration on winding prepreg pressing force. Optimize the the winding trajectory according to the simulation results.The research in this paper provides a reasonable and reliable technical solution to the composite reinforced tapes of helicopter blades high-quality and high-efficiency winding formin. Breakthrough foreign technology blockade. Improve the composite blade component winding forming technology of our country.
