Pneumatic driving system is widely used in automation fields for its well-known advantages. Especially, in recent years, pneumatic driving technique holds more and more important position in mechatronic fields with the combination of pneumatic components and electric products. With multiform pneumatic components, it is very important to select the components and simulate the system rapidly and efficiently while building the pneumatic system.According to the research work and actual state of the similar software in the world, and based on the PC software developed by FESTO - a German company, the research work is going along with a typical pneumatic system. And the target is to realize the components' selection of the system and obtain the simulation's results of dynamic performance on the Internet. The dissertation is divided into introduction, theoretic modeling, software realization and experiment validation and so on.In the introduction, a review is made about the research status of selection and simulation software, distributed technologies and distributed application. The research status of design and pneumatic system design in the network are also discussed. It is a macroscopical background for our research. At the end of this part the research's target, meaning and feasibility are brought out.The object of theoretic modeling is a typical one-loop pneumatic transmission system. Firstly, based on the theory of pneumatic system design, the arithmetic of cylinder's diameter and the basis of components selection in charging (discharging) circuit are analyzed. Then the mathematic model of pneumatic system is built and the optimization methods of model's parameters are studied. Lastly, the arithmetic of the simulation modeling is given in the dissertation.At present, application is go ahead for the web-based application. It is the embodiment of the deep using of Internet/Intranet. To implement the software, the studies are carried out from the analysis of requirement, system structure, key technologies, the exploitation of system and the using in the enterprises. The software in this dissertation is realized with C/S structure and B/S structure respectively. At the end of this part, comparison is made between these two structures, and the system used these two structures respectively according to the advantages and disadvantages of them.Through a visualized pneumatic system, experiment is carried out to validate the system's correctness. Real measure is done for the system. The results of measure indicate that the system built in the dissertation is credible.In the end of dissertation, it is summed up the work and brought up the deeper research aim.
