This paper emphasizes on theory and experiment research on dynamics working process of cold-asphalt road plane milling machine with multi-cutter. Based on the principle of metal cutting, the main cutting force is studied. The working power capacity equation of road plane milling machine is deduced from the aspect of principle of energy conservation. The effect of cutting speed, cutting thickness, cutting knife and materials on the working power capacity is discussed. Finally tractive property of road plane milling machine is also studied. Through the comparison of the results of theory calculation and experimental results the equation of working power capacity of milling machine is modified.
