Rotor-type milling machines for road maintenance include:cold recycling machine,soil stabilizer and cold milling machine.This paper studies the kinetics of cold recycling machine system and virtual prototype design.it can accomplish the milling,breaking up,mixing and spreading process continuously in environment temperature.Thus,the study of cold recycling machine is of great significance to conservation.The paper based on the stress condition of asphalt pavement when it is milling,simplify the destroy model of asphalt concrete and discuss the milling mechanism,then build kinetic model of the rotor working device and study the basic design parameter base on analyze cold recycling machine's working device. The effect rule of feeding speed,cutting speed,cutting thickness,cutting knife and materials on the working resistance and power is discussed and educe the horizontal working resistance of the cold recycling machine,the working resistance and power equation of cold recycling machine is deduced from the aspect of principle of energy conservation,first used the UG software CAD module build cold recycling machine model,and then import ADAMS simulation software,and Each parts has been constrant reasonably,build Cold Recycling virtual prototyping machine.By a large number of simulation experiment it can conclude the effect of the cold recycling machine' s feeding speed,cutting speed,cutting thickness on the horizontal working resistance in the different condition,using ADAMS to describe curves, which describes the relationship between three elements and the horizontal working resistance. In this paper,through virtual prototyping technology,the model of cold recycling machine has been simulation analysis,which can provides the basis for in-depth study.
