Continuous conveying equipment plays an important role in the national economy and the field of product currency. Air-cushioned belt conveyor, as a novel continuous conveying equipment, has become an indispensable key part of various technical process and has been applied widely in these field. Also the design and technology of air-cushioned belt conveyor are popular in the domestic and foreign study.On the basis of lucubrating in the design theory of air-cushioned belt conveyor, with the practice of engineering, in the case of an air-cushioned belt conveyor putted into production for export corn reconstruct project in Ganjingzi Quay Company of Dalian Port, linked with long term practical experiences, the system and detail design of air-cushioned belt conveyor are completed. In the thesis, some detail design is simulated and analyzed by modern design method. It's power calculation is developed by object oriented technology, which simplifies the complicated calculation.In the thesis, the applied design based on traction calculation theory and gas-membrane theory is developed. Especially for the general rule of gas-membrane distribution of the air-cushioned belt conveyor, after the finite element analysis and the simulation of gas membrane movement, the thesis finds out a reasonable design theory and method, which is useful for practical field.With the application of the air-cushioned belt conveyor and the development of the software technology, the design of the air-cushioned belt conveyor will turn on a new page.
