Intelligent-vehicle(IV) technology plays an crucial role in guaranteeing safely driving. Intelligent-vehicle video processing technology is one of the most important technology, and this result in research of intelligent-vehicle video processing system. Real time video processing system of intelligent vehicle can detect obstacle to find out the potential danger to vehicle driving. At the same time, surroundings of the vehicle is displayed on LCD and alarm is given out in danger. Extremely, the system make the vehicle brake away from danger.In this paper, we put emphasis on the research and study of intelligent vehicle video display and video processing system. And design video display testing circuit board based on FPGA system architecture. To system needs, video decode program is designed by simulation of MCU's IO to I2C time sequence. Moreover, video control program to implement internal function of FPGA is designed including video capture time sequence control, ping-pang frame buffer read and write time sequence control and LCD display time sequence control, and program's simulation and analysis is also provided. At last, this paper presents a portable IV's video processing system, and proposes three buffer strategy to control capture buffer. And a moving object detection algorithm of combing an adaptive background subtraction technique with a three-frame differencing is adopted. And simulation tests prove this method's validity. Implementation of this method in intelligent-vehicle video system based on DSP is also analyzed.
