since20years ago,Rail Europe gradually realized the importance of the train passive safety technologies, but also with the theoretical calculations and experimental study of longitudinal dynamics, however, as an important component of the buffer to achieve longitudinal dynamics calculations, how to design and verify that it meets required become a key theoretical curveour test bench refers to VOITH scharfenberg coupler impact calculation system and LEBEN buffer type test bench. We designed a test system based on Labview. This test bench can be divided into two system:static test system and dynamic impact test system,these test system mainly included data acquisition, data processing, display of each kind of curve, database design,and user interface. We programed an executable file easy to operate. With the development of the hardware, this test system can be improved. It can perform static compression test and dynamic impact test.At the beginning we gives a sample description on buffer test bench development and sorting in worldwild. then we describes the train buffer sort and test method,introducing from the structure/material/static and dynamic characteristics/volume/force/stroke/energy absorption/start force and LCC cost,comparing different buffers characteristic and suitable range.Second we introduces the design method of buffer and statement, transfer test curve to be simulate curve,then proven by the test bench. after introduction we describes how to design the buffer,at the beginning using the lengthways dynamics software calculating the train preformance,get the buffer characteristic from this simulation,then use the test bench to do the static and dynamic test, evaluating the result of the testThe next step we focus on the software of test bench base on Labview and design solution and logic diagram, lay out the user interface and result.In the end summarizes the main work and harvest of the thesis,at the same time forecast the future direction.
