Development level of aviation industry of one country has been considered as a symbol of its technological standards and integral power of the country. It is of important practical meaning to enhance design and manufacture level of our aero-products under current complex international environments.Design of aeroengine plays an important role in the whole manufacturing process of aero-products, while the design of cases is a very important part as a typical part of engines. Due to its complex structure and long-period of design, the design period of an engine may directly be affected by design period of cases. Lots of efforts to improve the product's design efficiency have been carried on in many native and international aero-enterprises.Aim at the present status of designing aeroengine in our country, a parametric design method for casing parts is researched in the project of Research on Quick Modeling Navigation Tools of Aeroengine Casing Parts and a set of typical modeling guiding tools for areoengine cases are developed, which makes the design of case parts quicker, more accurate and convenient. The main research contents and new methods in this thesis are as follows:1. A set of reasonable and normalized design methods for casing parts are proposed after analyzing the exist design methods of casing parts and pointing out their disadvantages;2. The feature system of the casing parts is classified and the special feature units are defined according to the structural characteristic of the casing parts, so that the design process is simplified and efficiency of the product modeling is increased.3. A set of modeling navigation tools for design of casing parts are developed and the normalized design process and methods for casing parts are embed into the design tools, so that the design effective is increased and the model of the parts can conveniently modified;4. Aim at the status of design of aeroengine casing parts almost without using parametric methods, an improved method is proposed which can deal with the relationship of associated dimension of geometry elements in the parts. A new method can embed the geometry elements in a sketch into another sketch so that the model of the casing parts is parametric and can be modified conveniently.
