Now, with the great exploitation of strip mine, more and more heavy-duty facilities are needed. In order to meet the needs of decreasing the dust in mine, a water spraying vehicle charging above 100 ton has been manufactured. As it is the first time to the manufacture such heavy-duty water spraying vehicle in china, it is difficult to evaluate the effect that water gives the vehicle in the course of the vehicle running using the experiential formula. Therefore in order to estimate the reliability of the vehicle, the thesis calculated the stress distribution of the water tank frame and analyzed the running stability of the vehicle using Ansys Multiphisics/Ls-DYNA and Madymo simulation software. The thesis introduced the elementary finite element theory of Ansys Multiphisics/Ls-DYNA and the geostatic theory of Madymo; introduced many application skills in the course of using Ansys Multiphisics/Ls-DYNA and Madymo. Then the thesis built the finite element model and the geostatic model of the water spraying vehicle, afterthat the thesis calculated the two models and analyzed the results. The results indicates that the design of the vehicle meets with the needs of the vehicle strength and safety. At the same time, the results also indicates that the estimate method given by the thesis is conformable and effective.
