The technology of full authority digital electronic control is a trend of aeroengine control, and the electronic controller is the primary part in an aeroengine control system. This paper introduces the process of constructing a primary module based on DSP and CAN-bus for an electronic aeroengine controller, and the feasibility of the module is validated by experiments of matter-in-loop simulation.The paper firstly analyzes the characteristics and demands of an electronic aeroengine controller, as a result, the design scheme of a primary module, which is based on DSP and CAN, is proposed for an electronic aeroengine controller. Then, according to this scheme, a primary module is implemented by hardware design and software development. Finally, a WPA aeroengine mathematical model is used to construct a matter-in-loop simulation system, with which a series of control system experiments are accomplished. The experimental results indicate that this primary module of an electronic aeroengine controller is viable. This primary module can also be applied in the research of advanced control applications, such as integrated flight-propulsion control, distributed aero engine control, and so on.
