This dissertation mainly deals with the surface reconstruction on the basis of the numeric tooth surface of the spiral bevel gear. The first step of surface reconstruction is designing the algorithm to partition the grids and transforming the origin data to the matrix style face by face. Then this dissertation implements most of algorithm of Non-Uniform B-Spline surface such as positive calculation, reverse calculation, knot interposer etc. Based onthe G0,G1 continuous conditions of Uniform bicubic B-Spline surface, the paperdeduces the G0,G1 continuous conditions in the surface reverse calculation thenimplements it for each face. The last step is the data exporting. This dissertation introduces the 1GES standard briefly and gives out a simplified IGES pre-process procedure transforming the results to exchange file. The whole procedure in the dissertation is coded by C++. During the program designing, the Object-Oriented technology and the Generic-Program technology are employed at the same time. The paper discusses how to improve proficiency of calculation program design through using C++ preparatory. The program in the dissertation had integrated in the spiral bevel gear transmission design, manufacture and analysis system, and proved to reach the design purpose in its application.
