This thesis, which relates data-gathering, communicating with video & audio signal gathering and real-time transmitting technology, proposes a complete project of auto-monitor & auto-control system, which carries out the converging-monitoring of the parameters or running states of equipments and the video-watching at the net terminal. The project puts together the traditional equipment-monitoring and video-watching, which makes better monitor the satellite up-station, and nowadays has succeeded in Jiangsu Broadcast Satellite Earth Station.This project ties up the reliability theory with the practice applied to broadcast satellite earth station in order to perfect the up-system framework primly. Furthermore, the thesis, still proceed to analyze the reliability design of the up-system, especially analyze and calculate the reliability and MTTF(Mean Time To Failure) of the mainly sending channels, which fulfills the main function of up-earth station. All of things can make us estimate the whole performance of up-system at any moment. Moreover, we do the fault analysis of the whole system with FTA(fault tree analysis), which offers the intuitionistic and effective ways for the watchers to deal with the emergency in practice.
