With the increasing of people's requirement to the quality of power, how to plan the power distribution structure and terminal reasonably is becoming a question that is getting more and more attention. This paper discusses how to resolve this question. First of all, it analyzes the structure of the Power Distribution Automation System and the functions of each module. Based on this theory, the hardware and software design of the Equipment of Power Testing based on DSP & CPLD is discussed. In this paper, software realization of DSP is emphasized. Such as the communication with upper stations, LCD displaying, filter design, the arithmetic of FFT and the realization of other arithmetic. The construction of communication network and the application of 101 communication rules are discussed in details in this paper.
