The exploitation of analysis instruments is attaching the importance along with the development of Analysis Chemistry. The thesis discusses the methods of designing intelligent analysis instruments. The instrument, which adopts the familiar method to detect Cobalt, hangs together luminosity analysis and flow injection analysis, and then controls the analysis process by micro-controller ship.The thesis introduces the whole process from chemistry, mechanism, electro circuit, optics and appearance design. Firstly the thesis describes chemistry foundation, and then introduces mechanism transmission part, design principle of flow route. The electro-circuit adopts MCS-51 system. The optical system adopts special design and you can change the light filter simply, then the instrument can be used in other element's analysis besides Cobalt. The design of instrument's appearance adopts trapeziform framework, which looks beauty and is convenient in using.The instrument cannot only be used in on-line analysis but also be used in off-line analysis. The whole analysis process can be completed automatically. Furthermore the sampling quantity and velocity are adjustable. Intelligent analysis process comes true at last. The whole process can complete within 60 seconds, making the standard deviation to 0.0008g/L and the measurement precision to 2%. It achieves really effect of saving time and energy. Besides, for the special request in factory, the instrument adopts the standard RS-485 data transmission which can transmits the analysis result into other place beyond 60 meters. For the development at present, the thesis puts forward some idea that can improve on the instrument.
