The double-cone miniature earth simulator integrating of optical, mechanical, circuit and computer technology is applied to the property testing of double-cone IR earth sensor. It is a necessary special-use ground testing equipment used in semi-physical simulation tests, satellite-borne closed-loop testing and base technological position testing on airship or satellite. Combined with the other ground testing equipment, the double-cone miniature earth simulator will carry out the property and reliability testing for various single machines and satellite-borne computer software on attitude-control system of airship and satellite. As a movable target simulator, the double-cone type IR earth sensor can be conveniently applied to stationary linearity testing and altitude-control system testing of airship and satellite after general assembly on launching position. The development, design and realization of the double-cone miniature earth simulator are introduced from mechanics, optics, circuit, software and testing, etc. The theoretical analysis for the selected methods and influence factors are carried out.
