Car Video Black Box Of The Research And Development, Image Compression Based On Wavelet Transform

The black box of vehicle (Vehicle traveling data recorder) is an intelligent device which used for monitoring, writing down the state and data in vehicle traveling. It offers reliable and accurate scientific basis in order to analyze and judge the vehicle's steering state in dealing with traffic accident .The vehicle video black box system that originally introduces in the article is developed by a patent which one company has .It has increased the functions, such as image, pronunciation, etc, on the basis of traditional vehicle black box. The system can circulate to write down two channel image data at the same time, preserve the important data, playback the image data preserved in the system. Wavelet analysis is an emerging studies developing quickly during recently ten years. It has deep theories and been used broadly. It is the epoch-making result of developing of Fourier analysis.Wavelet transformation is a new DIP (Digital Image Processing) technique, which has potentiality combined with people's vision characteristic. It can reconstruct image with better subjective quality under the same data rates, or get higher compressed rate under the same subjective appraisal condition. Wavelet transformation deals with the whole image, so it can completely remove the block artifact. The compression and decompression of image is realized by ADV611 chip based on wavelet transformation that is the key part in the system that we design.The article has discussed the theory of wavelet compression and decompression. The design of the hardware system based on chip ADV611 has been finished and discussed. We divided the system into several modules. The software of the modules has been finished, the program flows and key points are given.
