The Study, Based On The Gsm Short Message Traffic Information System

Passenger, as a whole, is an important user of Advanced Traveler Information Systems. This paper puts forward the idea of building a passenger-oriented traffic information-releasing system based on GSM Short Message carrying out a series of studies centered on testifying the necessity and feasibility of building such a system.In the process of system analysis, this paper analyzes the user's demands and the offer ability of using GSM Short Message transmitting traffic information, and advances the operation strategy as well. In the process of system design, it mainly studies the structure and function of communication model and GIS-PT model, which make up of the information-releasing center. Finally, it exploits the GIS-PT model designing the space database, realizing the query function and bringing forward the route choice model.The results indicate that building such a system is of great significance and is feasible in theory and technically.
