System Integration is the key factor in the realization of Intelligent Building(IB), in this course, there is certain complexity and difficulty to realize the interconnection and cooperation between each subsystem. OPC is a software data interchange standard interface and specification which has nothing to do with the manufacturer, and provides a new way to solve this issue, it pledges the integrated system as an open type system.First, some corresponding resolving measures and advice are proposed based on the analysis of the problems which lie in the development of IB in my country. In order to realize the advanced central System Integration, by means of the research of IB's three largest and most important subsystems—Building Automation System, Communication Automation System and Office Automation System, the primary longitudinal System Integration is put forward among each subsystem and the Building Management System's model is designed according to hierarchy framework.Then, the IB's central system integration—Intelligent Building Management System(IBMS) is optimized and designed on the basis of BMS, which uses the OPCServer as the communication interface among the different individual subsystem that can share the data and cooperate with each other.At last, the two-level system integration model and the OPC integrating technology are applied in TLHNT's multifunctional intelligent building, at the same, the detailed construction project is presented.
