The task of this thesis is to design a control seytem of a multi-spark shadow high-speed camera.This control systen is based on a computer of Pentiun III and an embeded Counter/Timer card PCI-8554,and it can exactly control the time interval of sparking of the multi-spark high-speed shadow camera.The programme which is realized by Visual Basic can prearrange the delay time of sparking of every the sixteen light sources, and the range in which the sixteen light sources can be set in dvance is from one microsecond to nine thousand nine hundred and ninty nine microseconds. The delay time of sparking of every the sixteen light sources can be an equal value. This equal value is the interval of sparking of the sixteen light sources. The time interval between one microsecond to nine thousand nine hundred and ninty nine microsecods shows that the speed of taking photographs is from one million pages per second to one hundred per pages per second. The time interval of sparking between each of the sixteen light sources can also be different. This manner of controlling is fit to take photoes for dynamic process whose change speed is not uniform.A pulse triggered circuit has been designed to match the pulse sequence that comes from PCI-8554 card. The principle diagram of the triggered circuit is designed with a circuit design software PROTEL99, so that the printed circuit board (PCB) can be made out according to the principle diagram of the triggered circuit. At last, check the performance of the whole circuit.The former Z-80 control syetem of the YA-16 multi-spark high-speed shadow camera is replaced by the new control syetem.Then some experiments will be done to test the performance of the whole control system.At last this control system will be used to the related experiment research.
