Typical pipeline system, which is made up of pipeline, pump, vessel, valve etc., is prevalent process equipment in industries such as chemical engineering, pharmacy, spaceflight. To develop the virtual visualization system of corresponding pipeline system can not only train the operators in virtual environment but also be helpful for the engineers and the decision-makers to design, optimize and analyze the pipeline system. The numerical simulation of models for pipeline system is not only the basis of its virtual visualization, but also a fundamental research on virtual reality and simulation. According to the theories of typical fluid dynamics, this thesis provided various numerical simulation algorithms of fluid for virtual visualization of pipeline system.Taking a typical pipeline system above-mentioned and its technologic process as an example, the thinking of simplification of it was discussed and the models of fluid constant and instant flowing based on Bernoulli equation were chosen for its virtual visualization.For instant flowing of fluid, this author adopted four-rank Ronge-Kutta to disperse the successive equation and got velocity, flux and pressure of fluid in any position at certain intervals. For constant flowing of fluid, based on the flux of the technology as a elementary parameter, the velocity and pressure of fluid could be presented by applying mathematical equation of constant flowing of fluid.By applying means of object-oriented software engineering and program design, mathematical model software and use case for fluid flowing in the pipeline system were developed. The original codes of the program for the main algorithms and some results run in the computer were provided in the thesis.At last, the author discussed the interaction between the mathematical model software package for fluid flowing in the pipeline system and other package. Some specially good effects of virtual visualization for the pipeline system were shown. The algorithms of numerical simulation for pipeline system made in this thesis were used in virtual visualization system for real pipeline system. It could be seen that the results of the simulation are very closed to the real data provided in the system by comparing them. The results proved the validity of the research on the system and could realize the objective of drilling and simulation for pipeline system.
