With the high speed of our economic developments, the general nationalpower is strengthened. Our government strengthens infrastructureinvestment. The increasing requirement of the commercial concrete haspulled the rapid development of the premixed commercial concrete and giventhe concrete mixing machine a good chance for further development. Atpresent, native concrete-mixing machines can be divided into two types:concrete mixing storey and concrete mixing station. Concrete mixingstation is extensively applying in market spots because of its simpleconstruction, less investment, more adaptability and higher automaticcontrol lever. During the design of the steel structure mixing station,the static calculation in the planar force system is usually used, whichtakes measure of averaging method of the plane structural mechanics. Thismethod is done under many restrictive conditions and the computationalmethod is not perfect. Since the calculation is done by hand, thecalculation procession is quite complex and the result is defective.In this paper, a typical steel structure mixing station HZS120 isstudied. This kind of station belongs to middle-sized or large-sizedstation and its production rate between 100 m~3/h and 120 m~3/h. It is onekind of the most widely used stations nationally at present. Thelarge-scaled finite element analysis program named AN'SYS is used in thispaper. On the consideration of the interaction between the spatialconstructional elements, 3D finite element model is made and the followingrespects will be further discussed:(1) Study on analytical methodThe theory for study on the steel structure mixing station is proposedby studies on the finite element method for the spatial structure' s static analysis and the discussion of the calculation method for the natural vibration characteristics of the structure and discussion of structure analysis and the analysis of design theory for the steel structure mixing station.(2)Model analysis, static analysis, natural vibration characteristics analysis and dynamic response analysis based on the typical steel structure mixing station HZS120 are done (DModel AnalysisOn the consideration of the structure' s spatial characters, the ensemble model is made according to the structure style. The three-dimensional spring beam element(BEAM4) , elastic container element {SHELL63) , elastic tube element {PIPE16) and bar element {LINKS) are used to simulate column, beam and stand bar system of the mixing station. The connection between spatial portal rigid frame and foundation underneath can be treated as hinged anchor bolts. And the anchor bolts' 3 translational degrees of freedom are restrained. ?Static analysisThe static analysis of the structure is done by finite element software, takes into account of the actual working conditions and 7 types of load, 16 different bad working conditions combination. The maximum of internal force > counter force and deformation and the places where they happens under all the bad working conditions combination are calculated. Then the mechanic behaviors of the structure are mastered. ?Natural vibration characteristics analysisThe structure' s natural vibration period and mode parameter of the former ninth order have been achieved by model analysis of the structure using finite element software through comparing the results of the analysis the fundamental states of the structure' s integral stiffnessand its stiffness of distribution are got, what' s more, provide reference is given to the optimization of structural project.?Dynamic response analysisHarmonic response analysis of the structure is done by finite element software. The response of the structure under different frequency is defined and also the specific frequency corresponding to the maximum response is found. Studies on the structure' s deformation characters and internal force' s distribution characters under harmonic load of this frequency are done, using the post-processor of ANASYS. After that they are compared with the deformation and internal force' distributoin character under static forces.(3) Through analyzing the design method of the HZS120 steel structure mixing station which is widely used at present and being compared with the calculation results by FEM, the places needed to be modified and optimized in the design method is proposed from analyzing projects.
