The technique of color sensor is one of the kernel technique of measurement in modern times. To use instruments of color measurement is the main means to impersonality judge of the color. This paper introduces the whole process of developing portable recognition system using Single-chip microcomputer in application to the color recognition and device based on analyzing the traditional color recognition in board. The paper analyzes the photoelectric detector in the system. A photoelectric detector is composed of photoelectric diode and optical filters covered above. We can get the stimulus values X, Y, Z from the measuring object in the range of the whole visible spectrum. This color sensor is used in color recognition for reflections light of object's surface that dose not give out light. The way to process the weak signal and parameters that affect color examination are introduced. The paper emphasizes analyzing the circus of digital converter (A/D & D/A), which is controlled by single-chip microcomputer. We have do some research in arithmetic based on principle of chrome. At last program is developed to control the. signal collection, the digital converter (A/D & D/A) and output.The design of hardware has a rational structure and a complete function, and the software is more flexible and practical.
