The Large-scale Low Temperature Simulate Environment Test System (LLTSETS) has stoped running in the tests many times because of the frequent faults caused by the equipments aging. To solve this question, on the base of the structure, princile and fult statistical data, this paper has analyzed the main invalidation mode and mechanism of the LLTSETS in detail. We have built the Fault Tree (FT) of this system by adopt the deductive method. The top event of the FT is the stop of low temperature test. And go on, we have made the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the FT by adopted the Making No Cross In Advance (MNCIA), the Blocking Decompound Technology (BDT). We have also uesed the program design skills of Turbo C computer language in the analysis of the FT. On base of above, we have fond the weakness and key equipment of this system. Furthermore, aiming at the main factor which affects the running of this test system, we have put forward the hardware measures used in improving the equipmens of the system and the software measures mainly as revising the orperate rules in test and forming the detailed rules for equipments maintenance. The FT built in this paper will offer the foundation theory for the orientation and analysis of fault in the LTSETS, and offer the important instruction for the security running of equipments and the training of operators. The application of the improve measures put forward in this paper has gained obvious effects in enhancing the security, prolonging the life of the system and insuring the finishing of the low temperature test tasks.
