EGCS (Elevator Group Control System) is a system of optimizing dispatching to many elevators in the same building. It includes the main elevator group controller unit, outside elevator-calling controller unit and inside controller unit. EGSC obeys a certain rules of elevator-sending tactics and takes centric and unified control to all the elevators. With the development of high buildings, people have higher and higher requirements to the elevator service quality. They want to shorten the waiting time and reduce energy to loss. This article considers synthetically the evaluation criterion of elevator-running and improves the intelligence of dispatching by setting up EGCS evaluation function and applications of fuzzy theory in EGCS. At the same time, to improve the prediction of the system and the dispatching, it optimizes the fuzzy algorithm and derives the optimized algorithm of center value and width.ARM Processor has popular usage in industry control and household appliances for its high performance and low loss and cost. This article takes the S3C4510B from SAMSUNG Company as the main controller, uses CAN BUS to set up communication network, designs and develops the hardware platform for the fuzzy group control elevators. This article also describes the design aim, function and ensemble structure of the system. It develops both software and hardware of all the units in the system with its emphasis on discussing the appliance of CAN BUS communication on the group control elevators and at the same time optimizes it. All these help to make the elevator in the best performance, shorten the waiting time, enlarge the transporting ability of group elevators and in these ways improve the service quality.The design of software in this article draws support from the control thought of embedded system. The system takes control ways of taking the operation state of the elevators as the base, and the dispatcher's procedure as the center. That is, while designing software, give some certain tasks such as elevator-answering task, elevator-sending task and opening and closing door tasks to the individual elevator according to its running state.Using a certain dispatcher's procedure to distribute, dispatch and manage these tasks, it realizes the operation of elevators.Xijun Chen (mechatronics engineering) Directed by Saiqing Huang...
