| The higher speed and longer running cycle of the train are required after the railway system increased the operation speed of the train, which demands the locatives have more and more stricter performance of the security. The Remote Monitor System of Locomotive's Status is based on Global Position System (GPS), Global System of Mobile (GSM, also include General Packet Radio Service, GPRS), and Geographical Information System (GIS), which is called 3G system, and it can monitor the status and position of the locomotives. It is useful to increase the performance of security and to give help to the driver. It will useful to construct the China's modern railway information system and to realize the government's goal to make a rapid progress of the railway system.The monitor system collects the position and status information of the locomotive and sends to the ground information center (GIC) via SMS (Short Message Server). And then the information will be transmitted from GIC to the bureau of the railway.Firstly, this thesis studies the significance of 3G system for railway. And then, the blue print are put forwards. Afterwards, it describes the analysis and design of the system hardware and software. The key is the designing of hardware about 3GC and 3GT, and that the algorithm about GPS information collection and SMS transmitting. At last, it studies about the composing of GIC and the interface of GIS.Now, this system is equipped on the locomotive of DF11G and the DC600V power supply. The performance and stability of locomotive are enhanced distinctly by utilizing the latest technology of communicate and position. The bureau of railway can monitor the status of locomotive, and then give advice in time when fault occurs. |
