Accompanying with the construction of our country, the quantity of tunnel engineering is increasing, and the difficulties of engineering construction are enhancing. There will be accident because of unkowning the geologic information afead of the tunnel face.Tunnel Seismic Prediction System (TSP-203 system)is designed for the problem,which is excellent intelligentized in data acquisition, processing and evaluation. This system can predict at least 100m in ahead of the tunnel face where the kinds, locations and sizes of geologic blocks, and evaluate rock mechanical parameters. For this reason, it can confirm the evidence for reasonable timbering parameters, and ensure the quality and safety in tunnel operations.In this text,I introduce the theories principle,the actual operation of data acquisition outside,data processing and evaluation of the TSP-203 system.By analysing the relations of resolving power, the bandwidth of frequency and the weight of detonator, Some ideas on signal inspired are expressed,at the same time, improvement opinions of the detecting system are brought out for economic factors and precision of measure,and even the factors which will produce errors are explained too.For perfecting the software of TSP-203 system,the format and realization of SEG-Y's data are expressed in detail.I give the ideas of evaluation based on seismic wave's speed.At last,the accuracy and validity are proved by two examples of TSP-203 system's usages in actual work.
