With the widespread application of satellites positioning technology, GIS, mobile communication technology and computer network technology, The GPS Vehicle Monitoring System has gotten a high speed development which is an important part of Intelligent Transportation System. The GPS Vehicle Monitoring System has been studied roundly in this paper. Mainly include following several points:1. Introduce the development of the GPS-VMS at domestic and international, analyze the shortage of the GPS-VMS at domestic, and point out the problem about the GPS-VMS network mode.2. Introduce the network communication protocols and network data communication technology in the GPS-VMS, and amply discuss the application about these technologies in the GPS-VMS.3. Analyze and devise architecture of the GPS-VMS, analyze the GPS-VMS into some concept sub-systems, and discuss the function and relationship of these sub-systems.4. Complete the design of these Sub-systems. Through practically work and test, the results show that the software and hardware work reliably and all technical parameters meet the design request. The GPS-VMS is becoming an applied system.In the end, the author gives a summary of this paper and prospect the future work. |
