This paper studies a new type of bridge— RC-masonry combination arch bridge。 It makes RC arch ribs as former spanning structure and falsework of masonry's construction. Finally, reinforced concrete and masonry together form arch ring. the paper studies:First, analog stone block and mortar to Representative Volume Element (RVE) which composed of equivalence bricking-up. RVE is a mechanic model through individually considering material characteristics and interaction of stone block and mortar, and calculate RVE's equivalent Young's modulus according to simplified mechanic model .Secondly, RC-masonry combination arch bridge is a span-self architecture. structural stiffness is gradually united, the whole construction process is made of six stage, and eighteen operating mode, so it is critical for built bridge to precisely analogue the construction process of the arch bridge. the construction stage is analysed by ANSYS software in this paper, the technique of 'birth and death element' is applied to the simulation analysis for the construction process of RC-masonry combination arch bridge, which makes modeling job very simple in orderly-erecting analysis and inversely-erecting analysis, and data transferring very easy between them. What's more, the order flows about the simulation analysis is programmed based on ANSYS software, which makes simulation analysis rule and simple.Finally, check internal force of this RC-masonry combination arch bridge in construction and use stages, and demonstrate the feasibility, practicability and superiority of the new bridge.
