RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding) is one of the most promising way of producing the Polyme-matrix Composites. The technique has been applied for several centuries in aviation sectors of foreign countries. However, we are still at the initial stage of utilizing the technology, seldom has it been used on the manufacturing of aircraft.The particularity of RTM device is based on the technical speciality of RTM process. Taking some of the foreign commercial RTM machines and experiences of designing native injection molding machines as references, this thesis discusses the general structure of RTM equipment which particularly uses the high quality Epoxy Resin as the material. Expatiates the principles of important parts and presents the blue prints.One of the requirements of RTM process is to transport the Epoxy Resin and its cure agent at a prescribed ratio. Enlightened by the kinematic characteristics of links, the thesis designs novel mechanisms which conveniently satisfy the proportioning requirements. In order to validate the correctness of the proportioning mechanism, the thesis establishes the Virtual Prototype of the mechanism and carries out the kinematics simulation in the ADAMS. At last, proves the correctness of the proportioning mechanism and optimizes the blue print.The load of RTM device is different from those of normal machines. The resistance of the high viscidity Epoxy Resin in the duct constitutes the main load of the machine. So, it is the decisive task to estimate the pressure loss in the transportation line. The fist step is to make certain which element to be chosen in the transportation line and then utilize the theory of hydrodynamics to estimate the pressure loss on, them. Finally presents the method to estimate the load of the hydraulic system by using kinetics simulation results of the proportioning mechanism.In order to control the flux and the pressure of the resin accurately, the whole proportioning mechanism is driven by the hydraulic system. The system uses the proportional P-Q valve as the central control valve to achieve the control of the flux and the pressure. The system has the merits of easy adjustment and possibility of integration with computers.Temperature is another important technical parameter in the RTM process. In order to ensure the resin to be injected inside the proper technical window, it is needed to warm up the resin in the tank. The thesis presents the methods to heat the tank of resin and how to calculate the power of the heater. Finally, the thesis explains the idea to control the temperature by using Fuzzy control theory.
