Along with the development of the information technique and the popularization of the digital product, the embedded technique is extensive applied. In the domain of the control of the industry automation, with the progress of the industrial production technique, the modern apparatus put forward some higher requests: multi-function, high reliability, quick response, small volume, low-power, easy operation, communication with personal computer ect. Nevertheless, the requests of the hardware and softwares all can be fulfilled by the embedded technique.The condition monitoring of Rotating machinery can reduce the cost of equipments maintenance, keep the security of manufacture and increase the use of equipments. The portable equipments patrol monitor apparatus based on the embedded system is an important part of the condition monitoring of Rotating machinery. It can realize the multi-channel collecting, saving of vibration signal and the function of processing simple signal. At present, the prices of the foreign portable equipments are expensive, but the domestic portable equipments have some weaknesses for example the small memory capacity, the simple function and the more bulky volume etc:.Toward the weaknesses, for alleviating the problem of the small memory capacity of the apparatus, USB replaced the Ethernet is used to carry the history data to personal computer. The Touch Screen technique replaced the original keyboard and display. The volume and weight of the apparatus is consumedly minished.In order to achieve the USB correspondence function of the apparatus, the USB Device Controller driver is developped. The driver software is based on the hardware of the USB Device Controller that is integrated in the PXA255 microprocessor. The Touch Screen controller chip(ADS7843 ) is expanded as the peripherals of the PXA255 microprocessor. In order to control the Touch Screen, the controller chip driver is developped.For not increasing the operation system core that stay in the memory, the drivers as the modules of the core are designed. For adapting to the limited memory space of the embedded system, under the condition that the actual function have been achieved, the volume of the drivers is reduced consumedly.
