Electrochemiluminescence is a luminescence phenomenon of some kinds of substances. It happens when the substances fall back to ground state after reacting with the redox under the effect of certain potential and reaching an unstable state. Electrochemiluminescence analysis is a newly developed way of chemistry analysis, which is a combination of chemiluminedscence, electrochemistry, bioanalysis, microelectronic technique and sensor technique.Developing with the technique of computer and electronic, especially more attention given on the sensor technique and biology chip analysis technique, chemiluminescence analysis technique grows rapidly across the fields of chemistry analysis, pharmaceutical analysis, life sciences, agriculture, environmental monitoring, and clinical diagnosis (immunity analysis, nucleic acid analysis), and the technique of chemiluminescence immunity analysis is practical applied in clinical diagnosis. Moreover, materials with the nature of chemiluminescence today are very hot as a new stuff for illuminating display.A new chemiluminescence analyzer, Universal Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer is designed in this thesis. It is a electrochemiluminescence analyzer with stable performance, high sensitivity, wide dynamical range and extensive application. It includes a sample pond for multiple measuring systems and 3D curves displaying function. This project is created as a key item by Shanghai Science and Technique Committee in September 2006.First, the thesis introduces the concept of chemiluminescence and the tendency of chemiluminescence analyzer, and also the reason for researching Universal Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer is shown. Then, the overall design, function of each module and hardware introduce are given. After that, it is how to transplant the embedded operation system Windows CE into embedded display termination of the instrument, and then how to implement the hardware circuit and driver for the touch screen is introduced. Finally, how to implement the 2D and 3D curves displaying on display termination by software is described.We make some improvements on the Universal Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer based on traditional chemiluminescence analyzers, which are the main contribution of the author and also the innovations of this thesis. First of all, we design the Universal Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer on embedded system. We also tailor and install Windows CE on it.Secondly, we transplant some functions of OpenGL to Windows CE embedded system to implement 3D graphics displaying on the display termination of the Universal Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer.At last, we add touch screen onto the LCD display of the Universal Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer. And the circuit and driver for the touch screen are implemented.
