Along with the improvement of the people's living standards, the demands of various convenient foods are largely increased, and this also promotes the development of our country's food and packaging machinery industry. The future packaging machinery industry will march toward digital control technically complying with industry Automation trend. However the packaging machinery industry in our country is still relatively Backward, many small and medium-sized enterprises still weigh and pack their products manually at the finally quantitative weighing and packaging stage of production. This way is labor-consuming, inefficient, and has become a bottleneck or constraint for these enterprises to improve their productivities and regulate production.In view of the above-mentioned facts, this paper makes a concrete analysis of the quantitative dumping question, and chooses TI TMS320VC5402 as the microprocessor chip which can realize various DSP algorithms fast and real timely to undertake a study of the dynamic weighing technique for grainy material.The research includes mainly the following three aspects: the design of the mechanical structure, the development of the circuit board, the collecting and processing of the weighing signal. In the design of the mechanical structure, the author compares several current continuous feeding systems' characteristics, and designs the mechanical system architecture in light of the demand for the project. In the design of the hardware circuit the author sets about comparing and choosing electronic components firstly, and then makes a circuit board, debugs it, finally writes a general control programme for the project. In the process of digital signal, let the signal through the FIR digital filter, then analyze and build models to get the solution for the dynamic weighing system.The paper established a quantitative weighing system for grainy material by designing software and hardware based on DSP and obtained the better discernment results. So, foundation works have been established for the farther research.At the end of this paper, the works of design are summarized and outline of some improvements are put forward in the future.
