Texture of skid resistance is necessary for safety driving on the surface of concrete pavement, so the performance of skid-resistance put direct influence on the drivers' safety. With the rapid development of highway in our country recently years, the questions of skid-resistance on highway have caught people's eyes progressively, at the same time the higher request for safety and comfortable driving has been put forward. Improving skid resistance performance and decreasing traffic accidents have been regarded as a hotspot-issue of pavement study, which has important significance for our society.In consideration of the characteristics of climax and environment in seasonal frost zone, this paper takes sufficient analyses and research on surface and mechanism of skid resistance, and put forward the concept of optimal design for groove parameters of concrete pavement for the first time. In order to make a compromise between skid resistance and lowing noise, theoretic analyses and testing datum are introduced to compare the skid resistance performance of the groove pavement which only one parameter of groove is changed each time. According to the above result, the project of "four parameters of groove" is given. As we all known, using groove projects with various space distributing is the best way to lower the concrete pavement noise, on the basis of the analyses of how the surface texture influence the noise and according to the project of "four parameters of groove", twelve kinds of groove projects with various space distributing are designed to compare of noise,F_B and textural depth to choose out the lower project to complete the entire course of the optimal design of the groove parameters. Through the validate of in-door tests, three kinds of groove projects with various space distributing and two kinds of equal space distributing groove projects are chosen out to be the better ones. Still the performance of those projects above needs to be proved out-doors. In the end, the paving and testing plan of the experimental-road is put forward in order to make further validation.The conclusion of this paper will provide an important reference for the research and application on texture of skid resistance and corresponding technique in the future.
