The structure optimization design passes through the long time development and the consummation. It has already become an emerging discipline when obtaining the widespread application in project technology. The genetic algorithms were one kind bionics algorithm to draw up the biological evolution theory. It has been received the widespread attention in the computer science and the optimization in recent years. Compares with the conventional optimized algorithm, the genetic algorithms have two big dominant characters: the concealment parallelism and the overall situation astringency, and it is easy and feasible. However, the genetic algorithms are a new discipline after all, It has many imperfect places in theoretically and realization.This article has researched the genetic algorithms and its application in the structure optimization design. This article take the research analysis basic principle of algorithms genetic and the synthesis which progressed about the genetic algorithms research in recent years as the foundation. To the special nature and requirement of the structure optimization question, this article checked the theory by one calculation of a more actual project example by synthesizing the condition which the union built-in reliability theory comprehensive consideration structure optimizes and using the fuzzy genetic algorithms optimization design.
