The paper aims at improving structural strength and optimization design of the main load-bearing components in the development of motorcycle, combining test-bed experimentation and finite element method calculation to study and carry out the intensity analysis of the frame and annulus in-depth.In the chapter One and Two, begining with the investigation of industry and market, We summarize the forming and development of motorcycle, and introduce the method of engineering mechanics which is used to deal with the election, design and detection etc. in the motorcycle. So we lead out the emphasis of study which simulate the motorcycle in the ugly work condition with the in test-bed. The paper refer the data of test and regularity of stress, these indicate the method is reliable and easily operable in invalidation diagnosis and optimization design of the frame, and provide the valuable instruction to evaluate the mechanical property and improve the design.In the chapter Three, we introduce a flow table which use FEM to calculate the stress of frame. On the base of definite inner force of the boundary, we calculate front reinforced plate of "QJ125A" type with four scheme. The result got a highly appraisal by department of industry, and at the same time it supply a example to combining the test with calculation to improve the design.In the chapter Four, we accomplish a contrast test with five aluminium annulus by the vertical load-on simulation in experimental laboratory; With the FEM, we analyse the stress and distortion detailedly under the radial(dead-load, impact, fatigue) and distortion,bend, those supply the basis assisting the manufacturer to choose the parts and improve the design.It is shown that being short of real motorcycle impact test at present and because of the unmature technology of the Computer Virtual Environment System in motor design ,the proposed method is widely applicable, economical and trusty. Finally, some useful suggestions are proposed to conceive Motorcycle Computer Assistant System (MCAS).
