At present, in the weapon test field of china, some pivotal testing items have its own particularities. And it is also difficult to buy the VXI bus modules corresponding to the test instruments at home or even abroad. Consequently, in order to meet the demands of scientific research and developing in weapon testing, popularize the corresponding VXI bus module, and reduce the cost, we are expected to resolve the problems existing in the research on these modules. This paper is aimed at the development of high input impedance charge amplifier module based on VXI bus, which is one of those.This paper firstly focuses on a systematic analysis of VI techniques and a discussion about the relevant hardware platform and software framework. Subsequently, double-channel interface and control circuits based on VXI bus register-based high impedance charge amplifier module are developed successfully with PLD techniques. And then, the function circuits of high impedance charge amplifier is designed emphatically. The next part is about the devising and modulating of the main circuits which consist of high impedance charge amplifier circuit, 12 bits D/A digital controlling gain and unitary disposal circuit, series-parallel convert circuit and so on. The last part of the paper mentions the analysis and study of the IVI model of the VPP instrument driver. Applied software exploit platform Labwindows/CVI compiled and programmed the driver based on IVI mode of high impedance charge amplifier and designed the soft panel.The module of high impedance charge amplifier based on VXI bus developed in this paper synthesizes VI, PLD and electronic circuitry design techniques. Accordingly the module characterizes itself by its intelligence, integration, convenient operation and strong anti-jamming capability.
