The designing and debugging process of the electric theodolite photoelectric signal processing system are presented in detail in this thesis.The implement of this system includes hardware part and software part. According to the anticipative target and design requirement of the system. The hardware part designs the signal-chip microcomputer control system and peripheral circuits. Acquisition and processing of the Moire Fringe grating signal are implemented. FPGA is designed to take count of the counting pulses and distinguish the direction by using a brand new digital subdivision technology. In software part, the grating signal is subdivided by the ADC of single-chip microcomputer in order to achieve the system qualification expected.The thesis brings forward the constitution of the signal processing system and the measurement of angle of the electric theodolite photoelectric which is suspected to be researched on. According to the corresponding principles, the thesis brings forward the design of software part and hardware part. Based on the elementary software frame that already had, the software design is changed and perfected. The software system calculates the value of angle ground on the arithmetic and brings it to display. All the functions of keystrokes are implemented according to the operation requirements of the electric theodolite. The software design of the microcomputer is finished. The designing of every module and each subprogram process is shown in this thesis. The debugging of hardware part and software part is carried on the elementary hardware frame that already had.Any anti-jamming technology that can avoid interference is taken to insure the precision of the equipment. Finally, on the condition that all the requirements and criterions of the design are all satisfied, the electric theodolite does measure up to the 2" measurement accuracy and the 1" reading accuracy. At last, the errors of the subdivision of the system are analyzed.
